Become involved civically. Go to local neighborhood meetings, meet your city council representative, state rep and senator and on up. Join a bike organization that advocates for bike rights, or the Minneapolis Bicycle Advisory Council, or donate time at the Sibley Bike Depot in St Paul or work at The Hub in Minneapolis - non-profits or co-ops are good.
